There is nothing inherently gendered about most clothing, and historically every style has been worn by any gender. Guys in skirts? Check. Guys in high heels? Check. Women in trousers? Check. Women in suits? Check. Men with flambouyant silk scarves? Check
Also important to remember, fashion is circular and self-refential. So, yes, I agree, dumbest taboo imaginable
