Here's one for you: why do soldiers still wear camouflage?

Soldiers on the modern battlefield actually add de-camouflaging items to clearly identify themselves as members of one force or another, so even in daytime, they defeat the utility of their own camo.

Night vision and thermal cameras are making ANY movement on the night-time battlefield impossible. No camouflage of any kind can hide you from a thermal optic.

Is camouflage obsolete?
