Patrick Wildt (patrick@) shared recent progress of #OpenBSD -current on the Radxa Orion O6 ARM motherboard, likely the first time OpenBSD has been booted on Cortex-A720. Still WIP, but at least hardware is in developer hands, and company seems interested in the *BSDs. :flan_thumbs:
It supports features like MTE, EPAN, BTI, PAC (apparently a different algorithm than on the Apple M2+).

@brynet
AFAIK OpenBSD doesn't support MTE (yet) - or did I miss anything?
Only OS I am aware of supporting MTE in production is #GrapheneOS.

@h3artbl33d MTE? Yes, I meant the hardware supports this.
In terms of OpenBSD support, EPAN and BTI work and are enabled by default, as for PAC kettenis@ recently committed some feature printing cleanup for it, but apparently it's not enabled on the A720 yet (needs testing). PAC is enabled on other hardware though, like the M2 and I believe Qualcomm Snapdragon.
No MTE support, not sure about plans for it.
