[#]OpenBSD -current now has a port of llama.cpp (misc/llama.cpp), an LLM inference library. I don't know what any of that means.

CPU backend only* for now, but Vulkan may be enabled in the future.

Patrick Wildt (patrick@) shared recent progress of #OpenBSD -current on the Radxa Orion O6 ARM motherboard, likely the first time OpenBSD has been booted on Cortex-A720. Still WIP, but at least hardware is in developer hands, and company seems interested in the *BSDs. :flan_thumbs:

It supports features like MTE, EPAN, BTI, PAC (apparently a different algorithm than on the Apple M2+).

Call for testing from Miod Vallat once again for laptops with repeating keyboard input on the console (or otherwise not working keyboards), largely affecting some chromebook machines.

Don't forget to try to suspend your system, too, and see if the keyboard and trackpad are still working upon resume.

Weirdest interaction with an Amazon delivery driver. I get a notification that my package is next to be delivered.

So I'm at the door waiting when the driver shows up with it..

He drops it on the ground pretty hard instead of just handing it to me, I'm upset so I go to pick it up and he says something about needing to take a photo, then leaves without apologizing.
