Yet another anti trans executive order, this one seeking to forcibly detransition and disallow transition of anyone under 19, and seek the prosecution of anyone who supports them.

This one follows the paternalistic language that’s pretty common with anti-trans policies regarding children. Namely it defines gender affirming care as “genital mutilation”, and uses language talking about how trans men may miss breastfeeding their children

Concerningly, it calls for the complete elimination of all policies derived from WPATH, and seeks to find “alternative facts” similarly to the Cass Review in the UK, whilst also banning any research into gender affirming care.

It looks to prosecute any doctors performing bottom surgery for trans mascs under female genital mutilation statutes, seemingly regardless of age.

And it also tests the waters of what a “child” is, bumping it up to 19, which opens doors to attempts to include up to under 25s, which has been a pretty common refrain of Republicans in state government.

@me This is so fucking disgusting I don't even think it will survive a court challenge given it goes beyond under 18. Still 100% wrong and why I never have and never will vote for am that orange shit stain.
