Darren Aronofsky, Brendan Fraser – „The Whale“ (2022)

Jetzt mal ehrlich: Dieser Film war ein Monster. Auch wenn es „nur“ drei Oscars dafür gab, hat dieses kleine Kammerspiel für mich 22/23 die Saison als größte Überraschung dominiert. Es war schlicht unglaublich, was Arronofsky und Fraser aus einem Theaterstück extrahiert und auf die Leinwand gebracht haben. (ARD)

Ja, sicher.

Meine Kritik geht in Richtung Programmdirektor, weil zur Primetime kommt dann Sportschau oder der x-te Krimi in seiner drölften Wiederholung.

Ich würde mich freuen wenn Rentner auch mal nen guten Film sehen nicht nur die Schwarzwaldklinik.

@Utneighbourofet@freiburg.social Hmmm… jetzt weiß ich nicht, was du denn meinst. Es stimmt, manche Filme sind nur 7 Tage verfügbar. Das ist, glaube ich, das Minimum. Allerdings müssen wir zur Ehrenrettung auch sehen, dass immer mehr Filme deutlich länger zur Verfügung stehen. Gründe dafür gibt es natürlich viele. Die Kosten sind nur einer. Der Druck der kapitalistischen Streamingbetreiber ein anderer. Und dann ist da natürlich noch die Rundfunkpolitik, gemacht von unseren Ministerpräsident:innen.

Aber „The Whale“ ist noch bis bis 25.02.2025 ∙ 05:30 Uhr verfügbar. Sogar in Originalversion!
