I just learned about the German word “Morgenmuffel” and I love it.

It describes someone who is grumpy in the mornings.

Not that I know someone like that. 😇

@baconandcoconut You'll find this a little difficult to pronounce but Viennese has "Grantscheabm" (literally "shard of grouch").

There is also the less localised "Griesgram".

@xahteiwi Some folks say that Dutch is a difficult language, but German ups the ante for me. My speech impediment cannot.
