I initially learned keyboard navigation for web development and accessibility testing, but it has unexpected other applications:

When the Bluetooth mouse randomly decides not to Bluetooth anymore, I can now reconnect it solely with the help of a keyboard.

Moral of the story: keyboard navigation rules. 🥳

So I like to complain about things having apps instead of physical buttons, but it sure was convenient checking the car lock status remotely… it’s cold outside.

Annoying bug in production again.

My electric standing desk got upset over a power loss and now refuses to work.

Attempts to reset it have failed so far, possibly because the desk is not at its lowest height.

I can’t be assed to dive into it right now as it’s not annoying enough, but annoying nonetheless.

I had an epiphany at the end of last year: after years of ignoring my birthday, it's actually no fun to do so.

I started a party invitee list a while back and realized that there are more people in my life I enjoy spending time with or even love than I realized.

The more technology takes humanity away from us, the more important it feels to celebrate the people in our lives.

So, I just sent out invitations for my first birthday party in years. 😱

To my delight, I just found that PyMdown Extensions has experimental support for preserving tab indents in code fences.

It works nicely in my newer articles that use tabs.

I am tempted to convert all older articles to tabs and add a setting that uses JS to influence the CSS tab-size property.

And then see how many people freak out over this decision…

I am in the middle of writing a blog article, and I wanted to link to MDN (Mozilla Developer Network).

MDN is a staple in web development, but I no longer align with Mozilla and have already abandoned Firefox because of it.

So, for the first time, I deliberately picked Wikipedia and individual articles over MDN resources.

Yet another reason why we should write and self-publish more articles!

I decided years ago not to sign up for new social networks, and that strategy has worked pretty well so far.

Mastodon has been my poison of choice, but even that one I treat differently (less personal) than the old accounts.

I do have Pixelfed FOMO now, though. 😅
