It’s only the 3rd Fediverse software distribution to hit 500K accounts!

And it just overtook #Peertube to become the 3rd must used Fediverse distribution too!

@atomicpoet the real question will be the 1, 3, and 6 month retention period: it can be easy to gain users during a movement, but a lot harder to keep them sticky.

@thisismissem Isn’t that the truth. We’ll be lucky if we see 25% retention rate.

@paulgarrard @atomicpoet The way this shook out with Mastodon is that an influx of users and general attention led to new apps and microblogging servers (and improvements to existing ones). I'm curious about whether this moment will produce a similar activity in photo sharing.
