The funny thing about Apple Intelligence being on by default, you still have to actually interact with the features to get the Apple Intelligence stuff. It’s not like it just magically starts taking screenshots of all your apps and storing them.
The writing tools still have to be invoked manually. The generative imaging still has to be used manually. Siri doesn’t magically connect to ChatGPT or anything, you still have to manually enable it. If you don’t, nothing is different.

@rosyna this is why I’m surprised by people complaining about it. It seems like you can almost completely ignore it so if it isn’t good enough for you, just don’t use it.

@bynkii @Mulderc A surprisingly surprising number of people wanted just that new Siri screen and would hack their iPhones in some way to enable it, even thought it didn’t change anything with how Siri the service behaves.
