@gretared Do you have concious rules or strategies that you use now that you didn't use or weren't aware of when you started? Because the stuff you do now has a definite style.

@whknott my more recent stuff is line and wash, so I use ink for lines and details. I still do direct watercolor for some landscapes and botanicals, but less frequently. I get bored with one style and then go to the other. I’ve also moved toward a looser, less realistic style because it’s more fun and free.
