@HanBrolo Thanks for drawing this claim to my attention. There was nothing about this Nazi salute that was awkward. He repeated it perfectly to the crowd behind him. I conclude that he knew exactly what he was doing.

The idea that we should give the benefit of the doubt to this crowd of vicious fascists echoes Neville Chamberlain immediately prior to WWII. The earmark of fascism is that might is right. They're exercising it. At this stage, they can only be reasonably addressed by force.

@HanBrolo We have been through this before. It was not tribalism that caused the free world to rise up against Hitler. It was the recognition, far too late, that the fascists, Hitler in particular, intended to crush them & subjugate them. When you finally realize that if you don't fight back, you will be slaughtered, THEN you have no other choice but to fight as if your life depends on it. That's where we are now. My father, a WWII vet, would be horrified that we didn't see this coming years ago
