I like that despite the end goal of Dwarf Fortress is it being a fully accurate simulation of life (like Synecdoche, New York or XKCD 505), Tarn Adams has said “sitting down with a fresh DF world would be like sitting down to read a middling fantasy author you haven't read before” (emphasis mine)

Imagine if AI bros had the insight to say that despite monumental effort the results are at best going to be no better than what's made by a mediocre person

@nytpu I'm afraid the AI bros don't have time to think of that.

I'm afraid they keep themselves busy, for having the time to stop and reflect would give space for the horrors to return from beyond their comprehension.
