AOC's Instagram reel about the tiktok ban is amazing:

-govt provided little evidence of national security risk

-she proposed a privacy law instead, and big tech freaked out

-tiktok has now restored service and thanked "president" Trump, who isn't president

-all major social media now controlled by the right wing

-better to use systems where you own your data (but she's apparently never heard of the fediverse!)

@stevenbodzin @EverydayMoggie ensconcing ourselves is self defeating. She needs to be where the audience is.

Don’t support fascist networks, but do use them to your own advantage.

Regular people need to find better alternatives. Change makers and people looking for good trouble should go to where trouble can be made.

@Pineywoozle sure, and while you're at it, check the accomplishments of salt in a stew. Congress is not about individual performance. When you add one person to Congress, you are adding an ingredient to a recipe. Do you think that Congress would be better off without her?

@stevenbodzin Honestly, 50/50 if she’d stopped saying defund the police when Obama asked, we might’ve not have lost so many Cuban votes in Fla. She isn’t salt. The media features her & other Progs who don’t do legislative work because they can be counted on to publicly bash Dems. Her open embrace of Susan Sarandon even after SS said “ it might be a good thing if trump won” encouraged 3rd party & non voters. ALL Progs not loudly calling out the level of Ru propagandizing of the farL is a problem.
