All 9 SCOTUS justices upheld the ban for good reasons.

But Tony, you can't blame Trump for this. The rise in egg prices are clearly due to government overreach - like having to kill the entire flock just because one bird is found to be infected or those damn blue states requiring hens not exist in cages their entire lives.

Once these woke rules are gutted, egg prices will surely come down to MAGApproved levels.

Just ignore the increase in the spread of the disease and increase risk of it transmitting to humans.

@TonyStark Aldi price rose from about $2.60 /dozen just before the election to $7.42 this week. In other stores they are up to $14.99/dozen. Bird flu has decimated

the egg business in CA and elsewhere.

As a rational person I knew this was coming and am thinking ahead about egg substitutes.

I didn't blame Biden, and I won't blame trump for the virus. I will feel grim satisfaction as another of trump's absurd campaign promises comes to nought .

Go ahead and blame Trump for the virus bc thanks to him, public health has become political poison, and as the bird flu spreads his admin will do jack all about it. I’m old enough to remember when the barest hint of bird flu resulted in massive vaccine drives. Sigh. At least one is in the works, I’ve heard.

I blame President Felon for 90% of how awful everything in the USA has become due to covid. But Biden gets 10% of my ire for declaring the pandemic "over" and not doubling down on all possible safety measures.

Eggs and chicken are going to go astronomical before bird flu is over. And bird flu won't be over anytime soon, thanks to every troublesome sockbag who helped get the Felon back into the White House.

Plenty of blame to go around. I have so much contempt and loathing for trump that I've run out of pejoratives. Same for trump voters.

I am extremely concerned about H5N1. It has already led to mass die offs of marine mammals here in CA. It has also affected 70% of CA dairy herds.

CDC says the threat to humans is low, but I now have little faith in the agency. It's bad under Biden. As of next week, it will be unimaginably worse. 😔

@courtcan @lucybeahere @TonyStark So far no human to human contact has occurred. The fact that is has moved from birds to mammals, and that it will almost certainly mutate again is alarming.

On Friday Biden admin gave a huge grant to Moderna to develop a vaccine. Was good to hear, but wish it had been done at that scale much earlier. Will the next admin continue the work?

@lucybeahere @TonyStark I hear you. Viruses are always going to to happen, but it greatly matters who is going into battle against them. Science deniers are the worst, especially when they politicize public health.

As a medical professional I never dreamed, even in nightmares, that we'd come to this. There's currently a huge disparity between WHO global stats on Covid and what appears on the CDC website. It's terrible to realize that there is really no way to know what is going on with Covid.
