the pinnacle of shower ux?

simple, functional, and safe β€” you have to go through cold to get to hot, but you can keep spinning past hot to turn it back off

@airshipper Parents have this in their shower... After I returned from 3 years overseas, I jumped in the shower and instinctively twisted it on the the temperature sweet spot.

@airshipper can't tell you how much I hate these things. I guess you need to have grown up with them to appreciate them πŸ˜…

@airshipper maybe they work fine when there's the perfect water pressure with the correct shower head for it, but otherwise there's always cycling through too little, too much, too cold and too hot in all possible combinations πŸ˜‚

@oseiler yeah you need to accept a single pressure, and that has obviously been its downfall. i want full pressure always (but could not use one at my house without installing a regulator).

@airshipper It looks nice and simple, but I always want to control flow rate separately from temperature.

@kkarhan

Oh, cmon! I love one-pedal driving! If you don't, you can easily adjust the regen braking down to zero.

And unlike in the image, you don't have to go through maximum acceleration, to power off the vehicle.

@etam @airshipper point is that it fucks with my brain and is just straining and I'm not gonna fiddle an entire hour on a rental or other car to unfuck this mess.
