I'll do y'all a favor and not show the horrible job I did with cutting them up. I really should invest in a proper bread knife. The one I have is supposed to be a bread knife but it only does a great job with bread rolls.

Any recommendations for a decent bread knife?

@bitboxer should've thought about those, I grew up basically next door 😅

At first glance, there are too many options but they all look great. Maybe not the one that's 450€ but I can see treating myself to an 80€ knife for a birthday!

@janmon I’m pretty happy with IKEA’s non-bread knife for slicing my wheat and rye breads, sharpened with their own sharpener.

@janmon not really a specific suggestion but I have found thin blades to work better than thick ones. I have an old one that is probably getting fairly dull but I still prefer it from a rarely used new one which is thicker.
