@AllysonShaw So peaceful!

I understand the way you might be feeling about Pixelfed. I've had an account there since I started in the fedi in 2022 but soon stopped using it. I was not a fan of instagram and so am not looking to replace that in my life. Also, I think I can only manage one social media account. Too much else to do. What are your concerns with pixelfed?

@photovotary I really loved Instagram before the algorithm. I am a visual person-it is how I process ideas. IG was a thinking tool. Basically pixelfed looks bad-an awkward grey box. My followers aren’t migrated. I can’t make more than one collection and can’t see comments without clicking on the original post. Everything is clunky by design, like a bad IG knock off. I sort of hate it-probably because it is the kind of platform I would primarily use if it were designed better.

@DavidTanner @AllysonShaw@pixelfed.scot I moved from Pixelfed.social to .scot and the performance improved, but I’m still waiting for my followers to migrate. How long did it take for you? I can’t make more than one collection. Are you able to do this? When I click anything there’s no response or refresh. I can’t see comments without navigating to the post. Among other things. It doesn’t feel like @Pixelfed is as designed by a visual person despite it being a visual platform. /gripe
