Hmm. How to cancel a regular Patreon, anyone? I can't see any option on the site! EDIT: now done, thanks to @tmcfarlane

@carusb If you just want to cancel a membership (from the web interface anyway), you can click on the specific channel in the panel on the bottom left, click on "memberships" in the channels page, then scroll down to "your membership", mouse over the box, the little pen/edit icon should pop up on the top right of the box, click that, and you can cancel from there. Intentional difficult? Definitely

@tmcfarlane That worked, thanks, though the wee pencil was only ever briefly visible. You're right, a definite dark pattern!

@serichards @carusb yeah, it's a bit scummy really. I have cancelled one before now (I got a bit trigger happy with them during covid). I like patreon as a concept, but really, there's no need to make unsubscribing intentionally difficult.
