A while ago I got back from a day away and DHL ‘left a package with my neighbour’. A day later I discovered the DHL guy had just thrown it over a fence by the side of the house, completely ruining the contents. I filed a complaint.

Yesterday DHL delivered another package. The delivery guy cheerfully volunteered that when I’m not at home he throws it over the fence. I said, I noticed, my package was destroyed.

He said: “No worries, just file a complaint, they’ll send a new one!”

I had actually interjected with a “yes I complained, I didn’t want to get you in trouble” and he said “no trouble at all!”

He offered to leave it with actual neighbours next time. (???) 😂😭
