I seem to be having trouble withmy coordination today. I dropped the rice cooker pot full of rice into the sink while trying to fill the pot to let the rice soak. I also dumped out some of the rice while trying to drain the soaking/rinsing water.
I pretty much never F this up. But today? Pshhhhh.
Yeah, I scooped up as much as I could from the bottom of the dirty sink and rinsed it a few extra times. Hopefully it won't taste weird/soapy.
The curry smells amazing, tho. Dinner in 30.

@whknott What started as a cup of rice is probably more like 3/4 cup, but that's fine. I tend to eat too much, anyway. Theoretically, I cup (240 mL) of dry rice is two servings for me. I make 2, eat 1, and freeze or refrigerate the second for the next day or later.

@gcvsa When I cook for myself or for me and my son, I make 1 cup of rice. If it's just me, theoretically half will be left over. Theoretically.
Realistically, I have started reducing how much I make if he's not going to eat. If it's around, I will eat it.
