I am looking for recommendations of which #pixelfed server to join. I am a writer so I guess most I will be doing is lurking, see at what other writers and reviewers share and liking cat pictures. I do have cat pictures of my own which I might share as well... And probably gush about my characters because: How can I not?

You don't need to make 2 accounts, like, if you just wanna follow Pixelfed people, you can do it from your Mastodon account/Friendica/Fediverse account. If you post mostly text? I don't think Pixelfed is right for you. If you post pictures and or videos more than text, yes. I believe Pixelfed people can follow us from their own instances too so it works out! @Firlefanz @strangeseawolf

@WeirdWriter @Firlefanz @strangeseawolf For posting images you need an account on a pixelfed server. Smart tip: follow your pixelfed account from your masto-account and boost your pictures from masto. That is how I do it.

You do indeed NOT need an account to FOLLOW pixelfed accounts.
