@resing from what I can tell, you need an account on a Pixelfed instance to see that instance’s local feed. You can create an account here: https://pixelfed.org/servers

pixelfed.social is the instance I’m on and it’s the largest one. There’s about 10 new posts every minute on there, but it is struggling to load occasionally with the extra demand. There are other instances you could join which might be more stable, and who knows what new users might be posting on them! https://social.growyourown.services/@FediGarden/113823446365829623

@resing I believe that once you’ve chosen an instance, you can create an account with your Mastodon credentials (kind of like a “Sign in with Google”) to make signing up easier
