Ok, am I weird or does this make no sense? To pin an #ostree deployment in #fedora #atomic desktop you use e.g.

sudo ostree* admin pin 0

Naively, I always think it should be

sudo ostree admin unpin 0

to unpin it again. But no. My sweat summer child. Why, it's obviously:

sudo ostree admin pin --unpin 0

(I kinda get why it is that but I will never be able to remember that.)

• Why not rpm-ostree? So many questions.

Still thinking about the brief moment in history where you could use (regional) trains and other public transport for 9€/month in Germany. What a time to be alive.

(They're slowly killing it off by making it ever more expensive (abt 60 €/month now) and also a subscription so we can all go back to rotting in car hell. Still, that feeling of just hopping onto buses and trains without caring about tickets …)

Hello! 💖 Hope you're having a good start to 2025, Fediverse!

I had a lot of fun with #ArtVsArtist last year so let's do it again (even though I'm even more hesitant to put my face on the internet with the ongoing #AIApocalypse then I am for privacy reasons anyway).

It feel like if been doing even less art then in 2023 and it's somehow also less pink, something I need to change in 2025 ^__^

@AntennaPod Hello ^^ I changed the OS on my Android phone recently and I feel like before the Download button in the Queue, Inbox and Episodes tabs was I play / stream button but I can't figure out how to change it ++

Edit: Found it! It's Settings > Playback > Prefer Streaming ^__^

It's been more than a year that I switched from #Windoge to #Linux 100% and I still regularly get feeling of „Oh, it's so amazing to use a system that isn't owned by evil corporate billionaires that spy on my every chance they get and try to push stuff on my I loathe“ when I sit down at my computer.

It's so amazing to be at home on your computer, something you like to use without feeling bad subconsciously all the time. I love it! 💖

Ok, wow, another #Linux thing just happened that I didn't expect to work:

I noticed a high-pitched sound coming my new system, pressed the super key, typed in „fan“, opened #CoolerControl, saw that two #fans were running at 100%, turned of of them to 85% (which Just Worked(tm)!111?!), noise is gone 🤯

(It's also kind of mind-blowing to me that #RGB control works out of the box with #OpenRGB, what magic is this!?)

@peertube Hello ^__^ Where is a good way to give feedback on Peertube? I always have the problem that I don't know if I already liked (👍) a video because the unliked state is dark grey and liked is slightly darker grey/black. I think it would be good if e.g. the hand changed from outline to fully black or even red on the inside or something to make the different states clearer.

Keep up the good work, looking forward to the mobile app!
