I’m definitely a little annoyed that Imperial Guard infantry can no longer take a heavy weapon in the squad, changing ~30 years of unit orientation.
I’m sure friendly games I’ll be able to keep using them, and I’ll have enough models to play a legit army in tournaments.
At least Krieg are still on 25mm so I don’t have to rebase a hundred guys for at least an edition.

@deinol My main army was always Guard.
10th Ed killed me on 40k. It was already on the wane in 9th - I’m a weird mix of person who loves something semi-competitive + semi-lore-accurate. The mess that is the new army rules totally turned me off of it. (Space Marines and Ad Mech are also bad, but Guard? They had platoons. Now they have nothing 😭)

@mcjwarhammer
I hear that. The thing I love that’s added in 9th and 10th is crusade. That’s the level up your guys experience I’ve been wanting since Rogue Trader.
But I’m definitely a non-competitive, lore/narrative driven player. And my friends are usually down to do variant play.
Like seriously, platoons would be easy to add back in. Command squad + 20 man squad is halfway there already.
