I don't think it's #retromania at all. I see people my own age, who were online in the 2000s pine away for the Internet that wasn't there during that time. And I think it's because us Internet ancient old farts, like me, who have been on it since 1993 tell too many stories "How are you so offensively mouthy?" Well, I learned from salty academics on #usenet when I was 13 about the art of the flame.
