I'm interested in the opinions of #ASD folk regarding Elon Musk.

I have seen lots of comments on places like Facebook regarding Musk's behaviour.

A comment that regularly appears is "oh he's autistic so he behaves/acts oddly at times". Most recently this has been in the context of Musk's Nazi salute.

I'm neurotypical, however my youngest son, who is in his twenties, is #ASD and he certainly doesn't behave like Musk - generally obnoxious and picking on people. When my son has an opinion on something it is obvious that he has thought about it a lot and found out something about it.

How do you feel about people giving Musk a 'free pass' with his behaviour by blaming it on being 'autistic'?

I appreciate that word is not used like that now, but that is the language these people use which is why it is in quotes.

I have been following the drama that #Trump has created over the repatriation of #Colombian migrants.

What is not reported is what exactly is the status of the people being repatriated. The reports just mention migrants.

Who is being repatriated?

Are these people who have correct immigration documentation that have been rounded up or volunteered to return?

Lots of people are assuming they are illegal migrants, but nothing is mentioned in reports.

The only problem with writing stuff for an article in the bath is that you lose track of time and the water gets cold.

Got an insulated bath that stays warm longer.

Topping up with hot water feels decadent, but I haven't finished my piece.
