Don’t you think social structures have changed over that 3000 years. I think I’ve seen a lot of change in my lifetime, though some people are still trying to hold onto their old status quo.

@gdinwiddie I guess we‘d need to establish what we mean by social structures. I was thinking about structures that have emerged and have allowed us to align roughly around some common aims. Also I was thinking about the different forms of government that have emerged and declined multiple times. Here I'd say that some concepts are already quite old. I see a problem of scalability in that our evolutionary group size is maybe around 200 people, while we now regularly end up acting in far bigger groups. Here we always seem end up in a hierarchy. That was sort of my drift here. @jessitron
