Need #QGIS help. I have a simple map of a town with lots. A small subset (79) of the lots are labeled. All labels appear in the map and layout, but some are missing from the exported PDF and PNG. What is going on and how can I resolve this?
QGIS 3.34.13 on Windows 10.

@AtanasE How do you manage the label placement? Fixed coordinates or some flavor of automatic placement?

@soerenwilke Automatic. Tried several flavors, same result. Usually when PDF export fails in some way, export to PNG works. Not this time. These two labels just don't want to export.

@AtanasE My (unfounded) intuition is that it's something to do with every format<-device needs its own special code for rendering, doing things slightly different.
Been in your situation. I then usually switch to manual placement with coordinates stored in attribute table, then nudge the culprits around until I find a layout that will render correctly in the target device.

@soerenwilke Thank you! I may just do that.

@AtanasE @soerenwilke you can try to export in a higher resolution.

@calli @soerenwilke Thank you. Tried, no luck

@AtanasE In the last tab of label options, there is a section called "Overlapping Labels" -- maybe try changing the mode to see if that helps?

@kgjenkins I did that, to no avail. The labels displayed fine on the map, but didn't export to PDF or PNG.

@AtanasE tried forced label? There is an option for that

@federicogazaba Don't remember seeing that. I'll check again. What frustrated me was that the labels did appear correctly on the map and layout canvas, so I had no reason (or so I thought) to force anything.
