My actual Facebook usage boils down to a handful of groups, most of which are gaming related. A few World of Darkness ones are actually top notch, surprisingly.

I am now going to delete my Facebook account and I don't think I have a replacement for them. People point to various Discord servers as alternatives, but I have never been able to get much use out of Discord.

Any suggestions here? This place (and Bluesky) aside, of course.

@dawngreeter Facebook has some amazingly good groups. Or did when I left, a few years ago.

@Da_Gut Yeah. You wouldn't think it, but the groups are the one thing about Facebook that has value.

Probably that simply means there are some interesting, decent people there for reasons no one can explain.
