I'm back listening to the podcast 3d6 Down the Line! I'm waaaaayyyyy behind (just finished episode 33), but that's okay. The only time limit on Podcast is if they start mothballing their older content....

Great GM, and Great Players, who teach me a lot just in how they play!

.

Personally, I look forward to their being powerful enough to take down Cisco....

"Who knows? Times change. Would you call this age a good one for unicorns?"

"No, but I wonder if any man before us ever thought his time a good time for unicorns.”

Goodwill books from this afternoon. I didn't expect the Silk Roads book.... the Paper Airplanes and Last Unicorn will be read, and then placed into a little free library.

.

Could I afford them? Not really. (Total cost was about $10.50).

That's the danger of being a book lover.

I've been on a cyber-hygiene day all day. Changing every little password I can think of, and making sure my password manager is up to date with all of them.

I'm not a computer security guy. But a year or so ago while poking around the web interface of a little wireless label printer, I found the wireless name, and password stored in plain text.

At a former workplace - there were a few dozen of the things in use. Default username and password from the factory of course. No bulk remote management. On carts that moved around (the printer itself would fit the palm of your hand), in public accessible areas.

Fun stuff!

I don't like dog death or injury in my movies/books. So I'm watching a movie with 2 background canines in about 10 minute increments, on pins and needles. I already know what happens to the K9's (thanks to Does the Dog die.com).... but yeah.... Still, I'm invested by this point.

In addition to trying container gardening this year, I'm going to incorporate dandelions into my diet. Yep, "weeds".

It's pretty good. I doubt that it will stick in my head till the end of time, but its pretty good. I know that there is at least one story game based on it. (Ribbon Drive, by Avery Alder).

Extended Tom Waits cameo.
