I know I'm late to the party but I'm enjoying #SoloLeveling The story is a somewhat generic power fantasy (literally 'the weakest hunter' becomes super strong by leveling and defeating bosses) - but the action, the animation, the many reference to gaming and the voice acting make up for it.

One episode is literally named "like a game" and they've been throwing in every gaming meme and RPG mechanic you can think of 😄 It's probably the most fun if you've played #RPG #JRPG and #mmorpg before.

Like "There is a shortage of healers!". MC scrolling through party finder on his phone: "Looking for healer". Me: as a former healer main [Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme] 😂

@chris The original webtoon creator...He did some good work with the creation of the Solo Leveling universe. Despite the generic power fantasy trope, the world building and characters prop this anime up in a big way. It's thoughtful, he has implemented and structured this world in a believable way.

An idea that haunted me for some time; it was mentioned in today's new episode of season 2. I'm keen to know more now, because it introduces new things to consider (I hope there is material made to address those concerns).
