Periodically I listen to contemporary debates in #evaluation and wonder how much progress there has been in the past fifty years. @andi Just a note of appreciation for your posts beyond mashing some little buttons!

This post (and the referenced post to a discussion of realist evaluation) were fun - yes, fun - to read because of your writing style and the fact that I could read this bit and go a little further with my understanding in a real way.

I have many of the same questions!

This is what we need as a field, I think. Great writing and space to think outside of conferences and specific projects.
