@Natalie They lasted 60000 years or more in a hard, hard land, while other "more civilised" cultures rose and fell and rose and fell... and in all that time they didn't make the earth unlivable, the air unbreathable, the water undrinkable or the oceans unfishable.

@kauer for real! I've been reading/ listening to David Marr's Killing For Country and there's a bit in it where one of the colonists was complaining that the inhabitants couldn't be bribed with material crap and could only be manipulated by taking their kids. Absolutely depraved.
