I like stereoizers. Who doesn't like "stereoizers"? The principles to widen the stereo width of an audio signal are simple, but so many things can go wrong with phase issues, robotic/metallic tints... A lot of plugins and probably snake oil are advertised promising stereo paradise.

Yesterday I saw a Bitwig Grid preset from a new author, another stereoizer, so simple, but... sounds good? (need to test further)

@icaria36 looks like it does kinda the similar things as my "wider" preset but only one all-pass and you can only switch it on/or off. But these widers always sound artificial imo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oo_pJGlfViU

@polarity Ah, yes, thank you, I remember that video and I will revisit your preset.

About the artificial sound, yes, but well, some creators and even genres made "artificial" their signature. For me I know the problem is to know when to stop turning the "widen" knob. 😅
