I like stereoizers. Who doesn't like "stereoizers"? The principles to widen the stereo width of an audio signal are simple, but so many things can go wrong with phase issues, robotic/metallic tints... A lot of plugins and probably snake oil are advertised promising stereo paradise.
Yesterday I saw a Bitwig Grid preset from a new author, another stereoizer, so simple, but... sounds good? (need to test further)

About the artificial sound, yes, but well, some creators and even genres made "artificial" their signature. For me I know the problem is to know when to stop turning the "widen" knob. 😅
