When I was taking this photo a guy passed and said 'You missed it!' (referring to a point perceived as the best of the bluebells) to which I smiled and said 'Did I?'.

@kristiedegaris I love the way the focus pushes towards the centre in this photo. I've had great difficult in recreating that using a phone camera

@LonM Ah yes, it is hard to do it with a phone camera! Some phones have a 'pro' setting which might get you closer?

@kristiedegaris Yeah, manual mode makes it a bit easier. Though fiddling about with buttons on a screen doesn't feel as satisfying as when I use my old DSLR. I like having something a bit more tactile.

@LonM Me too, although the phone camera is so convenient!

@kristiedegaris It's a lot easier to evaluate the composition when you're the one actually looking through the viewfinder, isn't it?
Nicely done, it's a beautiful scene!

@kristiedegaris I'm a big fan of this composition! ektar really does make green scenes pop, huh...

@amberisvibin it's become my favourite for landscapes. Less so on 35mm though.

@kristiedegaris you know, now that I think about it, I almost never see ektar on 35. maybe cause it's rly expensive.
I used to use Fuji superia for green landscape shots but you know how that goes

@amberisvibin tbh all film is prohibitively expensive at the moment, and I heard kodak is hiking prices again. But ektar remains my fav, and I do love a fuji superia xtra for flower shots. Portra 160 is lovely too
