I had ketamine once in hospital when the local anaesthetic I was given before surgery didn't work. Good news, I didn't feel a thing. Bad news, my brain was scrambled for days. And people do that for fun?

@pthane My Brother nearly lost an arm in a nasty industrial accident. They were going to move him by Helicopter, but the #Ketamine they'd given him to kill the pain meant that the crew couldn't take him, because of "Effects"! He still regrets whatever it was he said to the nurse at the A&E (He can't remember what he said: Only that he regrets saying it!). @RIJim @sfpodge @kibcol1049

That too. When I was half aware in the recovery room I told the black nurse she looked like Whoopi Goldberg. Then when I was slightly more aware I thought that was a bit insensitive and tried to apologise, making it worse. And all while the ceiling kept rotating and the clock on the wall was splitting into several clones and moving about.

@pthane I had it once during surgery and woke up crying & vomiting—I threw up almost non-stop for 2 hrs in recovery. No thanks. @RIJim @sfpodge @kibcol1049

@sfpodge @kibcol1049 The rumours suggest that Trump and Musk are seriously toked up most or all of the time. So a drug-addled brain might explain some of this.
