Denali is helping me kick off my job search today. I’m reaching out for any help that the great community here can provide me. I was recently laid off and I’m ready to start work immediately in the Portland, Oregon metro area or remotely.

Education: Graduated in 2019 with a BS in IT. Developed iPhone app for senior project with 100-page project specifications document. Attended many programming, database, and business classes. Earned a 4.0 GPA with Oregon Tech.

@andrewbriscoe Good luck with the job hunt! I always hate looking for new work... Sadly with a few specific exceptions my company requires employees to live in CA, which is a problem for me too.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're laid off of your job, Andrew. Wishing you the best success in your pursuit of a new job.

I can't be of much help with your job search since I'm in a completely different area. But I do know that with the Andrew Skurka guiding operation expanding, he has occasionally sought to hire people both on the business end and recreation end (but not full time). Would be interesting to combine your expertise in the outdoors and IT.
