radioqth.net shows the vanity call W7OM as "immediately available". I really don't like the "OM" moniker in ham radio, but that call is tempting.

@kc2ihx "Whiskey seven oscar mike" is pretty good! For my purposes, I've developed a slight preference for 2-syllable phonetic letters over single ones, but that's a very minor thing.

In an early version of the ICAO/NATO list "MIKE" was "METRO" and I like that better. GOLF was still GOLF though.

@VE2UWY @kc2ihx Even though my callsign ends in a 2-syllable "ECK-O" in my experience it's still the hardest digit in my call for someone to get when the voice contact is sketchy... With Mike I might start alternating Mike with Michael or something like that. :)
