Why didn't a single developer recreate the effort of some 70 people?
Seriously, you worry me with how defeatist you are. You need to both be more realistic and more forgiving of yourself.
Most indie developers never release anything on the market. You know that. So just finishing a single game and getting it out there is already doing better than most!

@jenny753 I never plan to fail. I just get sad, scale back my plans, and keep pushing forward anyway. It's not so much defeatism as self-flagellation.
