Barring any last-minute issues, I think this is almost ready to be merged. And if that wasn't time well spent I don't know what is!

@aaronsgiles 's Macintosh port of Day of the Tentacle, running in an experimental branch of ScummVM.

@et_andersson

Looks fantastic!

Also holy crap, I've played this game dozens of times and I never once tried looking at the battery plans

@hampus Thanks! On a related note, here's my favorite optional graphics from The Curse of Monkey Island. I would guess some players missed that one, too! (It's a painting in captain Blondebeard's restaurant.)

@et_andersson @aaronsgiles I will ask a naïve question 😅

What’s the difference between the DOS and Mac versions? I mean, wasn’t the one of the points of running script language in a VM to be able to run the game on both environments, provided the VM was ported?

@xtof @aaronsgiles

It depends on the game. The earliest ports have visibly different user interfaces. Some of them use digitized instruments and may have custom arrangements of the music to fit that.

For the last few games, I think the data files are identical to the DOS versions, with just some additional data for dialog windows, credits, etc. So much of the work was imitating the Mac widgets.

Of course, I'm looking from the outside. Aaron would be the one with some inside knowledge.
