Bookbinding project wrapped up (well, except for spending a bit more time in the press and drying, which will straighten up some the bit of waviness on the endpapers.)
This was mostly an experiment in printing bookcloth (finicky, but possible), practice making "common made" endpapers, and doing a rounded Bradel binding (a technique for forming the body of the book and making the outer case/covers.)

@seanbala Thanks!
The cover photo is part of a series that was way too much fun to shoot. I'm still pondering what to do next there, but the others are over here:

@djwtwo @seanbala Took a while but I finally found you in flickr and clicked to follow. Fun to see all your metaphotos! The first time I clicked a link to your album, there were only 2 photos in it. When I finally logged in and found your account I saw maybe 19 or so photos. Fun stuff! Also, I was really looking for you because I saw your post/s and comments from @mlanger about the book binding. Fascinating, both of you! I sadly sold my actual bookbinder press from the early 1940's or so.

@cobalt @djwtwo @seanbala That is sad! I'm just starting to wonder if I should be looking for one. I definitely cannot justify the expense of a new one.
Happy new year, by the way.
