I realize that #HamRadio is all voluntary, as is any kind of leadership role (such as being a net control station). With that said, if, as an NCS, you repeatedly fail to acknowledge check-ins, don't copy callsigns properly, and, after being told multiple times that at least one person on your role has been dead for months, continue to call them, maybe this isn't the gig for you.

@sclower ug - nets that do check-ins via a roll call are my least favorite. Why do people want to listen to a bunch of callsigns, with random responses of "here"

@N3VEM It's a local traffic net, so the check-ins do serve as a way to know how folks are doing. More importantly, if someone stops checking in we have a reason to reach out to make sure they're ok. For internet-based nets, though, I completely agree with you.
