Looking for recommendations! What broadband providers does everyone use (in NZ)? Do you like them?

@mwt starlink. pure seething hatred, down to my bones.

but their rural stranglehold preventing equitable investment and access to the nation's fibre backbone - they're the only game "out of town"

performance-wise, its fine

extremely cost effective as we are a multi-household split

probably would not consider it great value as a single dwelling. but again: there's no other options

@mwt We were very happy with 2Degrees while my business was paying for it. We saved NZD20.00 a month moving to Skinny when I stopped trading, though. And there's been nothing to complain about with Skinny so far (nearly eighteen months now).

@mwt One.NZ (ex Vodafone, ex Telstra, ex Saturn etc etc etc) - seem fine. I get occasional weirdness since switching to fibre (feels like my once a quarter issues on cable seems like a twice a quarter problem on fibre - usually rebooting the router fixes it).

@mwt another 2degrees user here. We're urban and using broadband fibre, on one of the cheapest plans they offer. No complaints so far, reasonable price and performs (as far as I can tell) as advertised.
