@gabek @Lydie I've done some art shows in the past months, and they always ask for my insta account to promote the event. It's frustrating.

But recently, I was showing at an art show, and it was slow because of weather, and I got a lot of time to get to know some of my fellow artists and the organizer.

At least one has set up her own mastodon instance and is rediscovering distributed social.

@gabek Haven't been there in ages (young kids change a lot of things!). We re-launched a company there (new name & branding) a long time ago. Great place, and no surprise that they do this.
