The problem the corporate facsists have has always been that a certain degree of consent is necessary to the continuance of their exploitation and their rule. There can always only ever be so much coercion before its utility is exceeded and it takes so much resources that it becomes unsustainable. When that happens, the corporate fascist regime is weakened and subject to usurpation by, we hope, real democratically minded people that are for the people.

The utter fear of anything even potentially stigmatized as social being some sort of socialist boogeyman killed democracy. Democracy, the social dispersion of power, including the power of economic capital, is akin to some degree of socialism in its dispersion. Regulated capital being in between the unfetterred and the completely socialized dichotomy. Democracy and socialism exist together to some degree. One does not exist for long without the other. The fascists figured it out.
