In fact in terms of (meta)data, I honestly believe the MInAS project (or rather the mixs framework) would be very easily extended to other data types to result in a single unified schema - we are already extending to c14 dating and there are researchers under MIxS who are also working on extending it to (modern) stable isotope probing data.
But maybe unifying archaeological sciences is a pipedream 😅
