@zuggamasta
Monome has a very special place in my heart and im very grateful to the people behind it for keeping it alive and true
I was also one of my very first introductions to the world of electronic music and creative art and coding back in in the mid / late 00s although due to the price and geolocation it was impossible for me to get a monome (now grid) until very recently and i'm very grateful.

@256k I know that I somehow was able to run a version of MLR on a generation 1 launchpad. But I was very overwhelmed as a young highschool student back then, while also pretty bummed by the lacking aesthetics. I still have it around here somewhere tho.

@zuggamasta hahaha yess same for me, i believe there was a software called "nonome" that mocked the launchpad into a monome but i also remember the launchpad mk1 being so very poorly built that it was not a very enjoyable experience

@zuggamasta @256k okay, 256k brought me this: I’ve been looking at the feasibility of a mlr style device in puredata vanilla, so it could be built into plugdata, and function much like a VST in any DAW!
