My entire family no longer communicates with me because I’m not on Facebook any more. I stand by that decision.

@knightlie stay strong, they will realize their error eventually. Some of my girlfriends on the other side of the country were like this when I quit Facebook. They would communicate, but there were passive aggressive jabs from time to time about how easier everything would be for them if I was on Instagram like everyone else.

And I understand with a time zone difference it’s a little harder, but I finally convinced them that they can send me messages to my phone whenever they want because I put it on do not disturb when I sleep. But it took awhile.

And I still have one guy friend out there who is constantly trying to get me to download Whats App or whatever that Meta messaging platform is called. I’ve told him I use Signal if he needs Internet messaging when he’s traveling, or I’ll just wait till he gets back to hear from him it’s fine.

@knightlie At the beginning of the year I deleted Facebook. It was a good decision. Same with Instagram
