My friend #IndustrialEstateCat has a soft new bed and a microwaveable heatpad, to make the sub-zero temperatures a little more bearable. The first night I added the bed, she spent over SIXTEEN HOURS(!) sleeping, bathing and dozing comfortably.

I'm finding #Vivaldi browser to be more and more frustrating lately, so I'm evaluating LibreWolf for a while. Vivaldi's Sessions and Workspaces are so broken they are unusable, now it's pestering me about Vivaldi mail when I go to my email provider.
I expect Edge and Chrome to nag me about things I'm not interested in, so I'm very disappointed that @Vivaldi is heading in this direction too.

I'm taking part in the #CatsProtection #BigWinterRoam event, which aims to raise money and awareness of the work they do helping homeless and unwanted cats. Cats Protection also lobby the government to improve legislation affecting cats, and were instrumental in making microchipping cats mandatory in the UK.
Throughout February I'll be recording all my outdoor and gym walking, aiming for a total of 75-100 miles. Each day, two of those miles are spent feeding and providing shelter for a #StrayCat.

Out on my #StrayCat feeding route, and who do I bump into but Mr Black Cat. And, whaddya know, I had a tray of Sauce Lovers Duck cat food with me.
He’s fairly tame for a stray, and tolerated a head-scritch and me helping him reach the kibble in his tray.

Is there an #iOS #Mastodon app that didn’t have issues? Ice Cubes truncates the Trending list after a dozen or so posts and always loses its place when returning to the Home view from a post. Ivory regularly attributes posts to the wrong account and corrupts the Explore list after a few minutes.
I’m genuinely preferring the default Mastodon website right now. 😕

Out a couple of evenings ago, and walking through the cemetery I encounter my other friend, Mr Black Cat. He’s fairly tame for a stray, and ate some kibble as long as I kept a respectable distance away. Unfortunately he’d left when I got back from the shop and missed out on a proper meal.

Out for today’s visit to my friend #IndustrialEstateCat to drop off a meal and exchange her microwaveable heat pad. She’s just enjoying some turkey and a sachet of chicken-flavoured yoghurt. The heat pad means she’ll be warm and comfortable in her Mr Snugs Kat Den, as there’s a nasty cold wind blowing. Since the weather got colder she’s living almost full time in the den. 😊

[#]IndustrialEstateCat having a meal of chicken and red pepper with peas. These #Cats eat better than we do sometimes, and she’ll get some Dreamies Cream malt pudding when she’s done. I also warmed up the SnuggleSafe for her so her den will be warm overnight.
She’s still wary of me, but is slowly getting braver and will come within six feet or so to eat. It takes a long time to earn the trust of a cat, particularly a feral with no human experience.

I keep trying to understand how Workspaces operate in @Vivaldi #Browser, but ever since I synced my profile to a new installation, my Workspaces list is just gibberish. I can't open a workspace from another device, now it's just duplicating them randomly.
I give up. I suspect there's an extension that actually does what I want in the way I expect it, because this isn't it.

Anyone thinking of switching to #Linux as #Windows continues to circle the drain, I can't recommend @kde enough. I switched to #Kubuntu a few months ago and #Plasma is the most professional, consistent and stable Linux environment I've used. I've set up a monthly donation, despite not having bought software for over a decade, because it's actually worth paying for. 🙂
